World Boss is an event that rotates at least once per month. From it you can acquire boss gear, as well as cards (attack/support) from crafting events.
The current World Boss is "Awakened King Of Curses", located in between the infinite tower building and the raid building.
In one day of a total 24 hours, the global boss will be available for 16 hours in a day. The boss will be available every 2 hours and after that will be 1 hour cooldown.
The remaining available time will be displayed above the damage progress bar. When the boss is under cooldown, a cooldown timer will be shown instead.
The milestones are different server-wide bonuses that activate when the damage bar reaches certain thresholds:
When the boss damage progress bar has 50% and 25% LEFT, cursed zones will be spawned in the lobby area. The boss will gain 100% Damage boost for every cursed zone activated.
There are a total of five kinds of cursed zones, each zone having their own visible color and drop rate:
You gain Talismans by beating the Cursed Zones. Each Cursed Zone has their respective tier of Talisman. A NPC will display the current active cursed zone next to the boss.
There are a total of 8 items you can craft from the crafting NPC. Earn cursed energy and cursed talisman from the event and craft items with them.

Note: All the cards can be rolled out after you craft them. A total of 2,500 cursed energy is needed in order to craft all the items from the NPC.

Cursed Talismans are obtained by defeating Cursed Zones. Different grades of zones drop different types of talismans, which are required for crafting the Ancient King Of Curses card.
