Luck System

Comprehensive guide to the Luck system in Anime Card Clash. Learn how Luck affects drop rates, card rarity, and various game mechanics.

What is Luck?

Luck is a crucial stat in Anime Card Clash that affects your chances of obtaining rare cards and items. Higher Luck values increase your probability of getting better drops from card packs, defeating bosses, and completing various game activities.

Luck directly influences the drop rates of cards, with higher Luck values significantly improving your chances of obtaining rare, epic, legendary, and mythic cards.

How Luck Affects Drop Rates

Base Drop Rates

Every card has a base drop rate (e.g., "1 in 1,000,000"). This is the probability of obtaining the card without any Luck bonuses.

Luck Multiplier

Your total Luck stat acts as a multiplier that improves your chances. The formula typically works as:

Actual Drop Rate = Base Drop Rate / (1 + Luck / 100)

This means that with 100 Luck, your effective drop rate is approximately doubled. With 200 Luck, it's tripled, and so on.

Luck Index

The Luck Index is a system that categorizes your total Luck into different tiers, each providing different bonuses to drop rates and card rarity chances.

Low Luck (0-50)
Standard drop rates, no significant bonuses
Medium Luck (51-150)
Slight improvement to rare card drops
High Luck (151-300)
Noticeable increase in epic and legendary drops
Very High Luck (301+)
Significant bonuses to all card rarities, including mythic

How to Increase Luck

1. Card Traits

Certain card traits provide Luck bonuses. When a card with a Luck trait is in your party, it contributes to your total Luck stat. The amount of Luck gained depends on the trait rarity.

  • Common Luck traits: +1 to +5 Luck
  • Rare Luck traits: +5 to +15 Luck
  • Epic Luck traits: +15 to +30 Luck
  • Legendary Luck traits: +30 to +50 Luck

2. Upgrades

The upgrade system allows you to permanently increase your base Luck stat. Each upgrade level provides a fixed amount of Luck that applies to all your card rolls.

3. Border Chance

Border Chance is a separate stat that affects your chances of getting higher-tier card borders (Gold, Rainbow, Secret). While not directly Luck, it works similarly and can be increased through card traits and upgrades.

4. Boss Chance

Boss Chance increases your probability of obtaining boss cards after defeating story mode bosses. This stat can also be improved through traits and upgrades.

Luck Calculation Tips

Total Luck Formula: Base Luck (from upgrades) + Sum of all active card trait Luck bonuses
Active Bonuses: Only cards currently in your party contribute their trait Luck bonuses. Cards in your collection but not in your active party do not count.
Stacking: Multiple cards with Luck traits stack additively. Having 5 cards with +10 Luck each gives you +50 total Luck from traits.
Optimization: For maximum Luck, prioritize cards with high Luck trait values and ensure they're always in your party when rolling for cards.

Luck Strategy Guide

Early Game: Focus on obtaining cards with Luck traits and building a party that maximizes your total Luck. Even small Luck bonuses can make a significant difference in the early stages.
Mid Game: Invest in upgrades to increase your base Luck. This provides a permanent boost that doesn't depend on your current party composition.
Late Game: Combine high-tier cards with excellent Luck traits, maxed upgrades, and strategic party building to achieve maximum Luck values for the best possible drop rates.
Rolling Strategy: Always ensure your highest Luck party is active before opening card packs or attempting boss fights to maximize your chances of obtaining rare cards.
